Lanka Mother and Child Support Foundation is the charity arm of Metrocorp (Pvt) Ltd, which was established in 2005 by its’ business partners Bogawantalawa Tea Estates PLC, Teamwork Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, and Walters Bay Inc, USA

The foundation was established with the purpose of serving mothers and children who were affected by the Tsunami. However, today, it has reached beyond these boundaries and strives to serve mothers and children affected by poverty and lack of resources from all parts of Sri Lanka with a primary interest in the tea plantation community.
